Without question Argentina produces some of the most outstanding and over-delivering wines in the world today. Modeled after our Top 100 Tasting, we will002 have more than fifty wines open to taste along with a BIG TIME BBQ with our good friend Jeff Stewart on the grill. We will be serving up outstanding beef, chicken and pork with side dishes designed to complement the wonderful Argentine wines. Come and enjoy great food, better wine and LIVE Flamenco music by Tim Barnett.

And for those of you looking for our weekly New Arrival Liquors, here they are:

Irish MistIrish Mist $24.99 Irish Mist is a blend of Irish whiskey, honey and natural aromatic spices. It was the first liqueur to be produced in Ireland and, while the bottle has changed a number of times over the years, the liqueur itself has remained true to its origins – the recipe has not changed, so you can be sure of the warming whiskey and honeyed sweetness, beautifully counter balanced by aromatic spices, that gives Irish Mist its wonderfully complex flavor and taste experience. Known to flirt outrageously with cola & lime, the following recipe is a classic using Irish Mist:

Irish Mist with Cola & Lime~

  • Pour Irish Mist over ice in a tall highball glass
  • Top with cola and squeeze in a wedge of lime

RothmanWinterPearRothman & Winter Orchard Pear Fruit Liqueur $24.99 Rothman & Winter Orchard Pear Fruit Liqueur is a true Pear Williams liqueur. Destillerie Purkhart carefully selects its pears each season from family orchards in both South Tirol (the Alto Adige) and the Danube Valley. It is ripe, fresh, natural and perfectly sweet. Enjoy on its own slightly chilled. It’s also ideal for use in an array of classic cocktails calling for pear brandy.

Pear Royale~

  • 4 oz Champagne
  • ½ oz Orchard Pear Fruit Liqueur
  • Mix in a Champagne glass

RothmanWinterApricotRothman & Winter Orchard Apricot Fruit Liqueur $24.99 Rothman & Winter Orchard Apricot Liqueur combines juice from the seasonal harvest of Austria’s famed Klosterneuberger apricots (known locally as “Marillen”) with an eau-de-vie produced from this same fruit. The eau-de-vie itself is famed for its delicate floral bouquet and a long, elegant finish. Destillerie Purkhart selects its apricots each season from family orchards in the Danube Valley and surrounding regions. The liqueur is ideal for use in an array of classic cocktails calling for apricot brandy.

Bittersweet Jack~

  • 2 oz Gentleman Jack
  • ¼ oz Rothman & Winter Apricot Fruit Liqueur
  • ¼ oz Orange Curacao
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Stir ingredients in a shaker with ice
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
  • Garnish with an orange peel

See you all soon in the wine bar,

- The Imbibe Gang
